When someone buys a license

You receive 75%

Of the license price you set. Default rate under the creator terms.

You set the price and term for each license type (personal, commercial, broadcast…)
The platform service fee and VAT are paid on top by the buyer, not taken from your share
DIP keeps 25% of the license price to run payments, documents and invoicing
Your share goes to your wallet once payment is confirmed

When this record helps

When your work is copied or reposted

The record stores a content hash and the time it was recorded, and the Publication Certificate is digitally signed. That is evidence of when you had the work, to attach to a takedown request or present in a dispute.

When someone wants to use your work

They can find the work and its owner in the public registry. If you set a price and list it on the marketplace, they can buy a usage license right on the platform instead of tracking you down.

When you need to prove it to a partner

Every record has its own identifier that anyone can look up and verify — useful for grant applications, publishing contracts or working with digital platforms.

Copyright arises when a work is created and fixed in a material form, regardless of registration (Law on Intellectual Property, Article 6). A record on DIP documents the date and content of the work; it does not create new rights and does not replace the copyright registration certificate issued by the Copyright Office of Vietnam.
